Francie Diep, staff writer at ​The Chronicle of Higher Education, spoke to and took questions from students and faculty in Gannett Auditorium on Nov. 14, 2019.

Diep is interested in accountability reporting in science and health, and in the intersections between science, culture, and policy. Before joining The Chronicle of Higher Education, she was a staff writer for Pacific Standard. Previously, she was a contributing writer at Popular Science ​and freelanced for The Atlantic, Scientific American, Smithsonian, and others.
