Bio
Maria will be supporting and collaborating with departments on recruitment and hiring practices to include Other Personnel Services (OPS), student and adjunct appointments. Maria will coordinate CJC’s volunteer program and elevate current off-boarding programs to best practices.
Maria grew up in Venezuela and in 2008 earned a B.S. in International Business from the University Alejandro de Humboldt. Before moving to the United States in 2018, Maria worked at a lumber distributor for over nine years.
During her tenure at CJC, she helped international students and employees become more acclimated to the U.S. and CJC. Maria was able to use her Spanish and high-level of customer service to bridge the gap between CJC and stakeholders.
