For Employers
Why recruit with the CJC? Our students are prepared, ready to bring fresh, new ideas, and can hit the ground running. Our award-winning students gain real-world experience in the most extensive immersion program in the country. Students develop multimedia skills in a working newsroom, a strategic communication firm with regional and national clients, and on seven digital and broadcast properties.
Careers in Communication Fair
Employers can engage with CJC students one on one for job and internship placement. The Careers in Communication Fair is held in the fall and spring semesters of the academic year.
The Spring 2024 Careers in Communication Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 26. It will be an in-person event. Visit the career fair webpage for registration information.
Job/Internship Postings
Employers may submit openings, subject to OCCP approval, at jobs.jou.ufl.edu/post-job. Postings may be viewed on the Job and Internship database site.
Is your company looking to hire an intern? Need assistance with your internship posting? We’ve created several internship description templates you may use to showcase your company’s opportunities. Use the template as a guideline to recruit students with the skills and experience best suited for the position.
Virtual and On-Campus visits
Engage with our students remotely, host a company information session, present to a professional student organization or schedule an on-campus visit. Our students are flexible and can adapt to any format. To schedule a virtual or on-campus recruiting opportunity, email Julie Frey at jsfrey@ufl.edu.
Corporate Partners Program
As a member of our Corporate Partners Program, your company will have exclusive access to highly motivated and skilled CJC graduates ready to embark on their perspective careers in the industry. For more information, email Julie Frey at jsfrey@ufl.edu.
