CJC is proud to present an opportunity to spend a full semester in Europe! This unique, three-month study abroad program includes 12 credit hours and is divided into three phases:
- Phase 1, Aug. 19 to Sept. 10: Students will cover and/or create media content related to the Paralympic Games in Paris under the direction of CJC’s in-house Parisian, Professor Roxane Coche. Three credits:
- RTV4930 for undergraduate students
- MMC6936 for graduate students
- Phase 2, Sept. 11 to Oct. 10: Students will take two courses — World Communication Systems and Sports Capstone — at Estudios Universitarios y Superiores De Andalucía in Sevilla, Spain. This portion of the program will culminate in a four-day excursion to Madrid. Six credits:
- World Communication Systems MMC4302 (undergraduate), MMC5306 (graduate).
- Sports Capstone: RTV4959C (undergraduate), MMC6905 (graduate).
- Phase 3, from Oct. 11 to Nov. 23: Students will complete an internship in Dublin, Ireland. Internships will be personalized to match each student’s interests as much as possible. (3 credits.)
After Thanksgiving break, students are required to write an internship report and a multimedia reflection post about their experience, both due in December.
The program is available to any undergraduate student and all CJC Professional Master’s students provided they do additional graduate work.
