Join us on Monday, February 26 at 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the free documentary screening of “Bad Press,” which shows the story of indigenous journalists on an Oklahoma tribal reservation that pushed back against censorship and convinced their community to pass a constitutional amendment protecting the right of media to report the news unfettered and free – one of the few U.S. tribes to provide such protections.

Following the screening, engage with the co-directors (which includes the director of the Indigenous Journalists Association) and star of the film, Angel Ellis, a reporter at Mvskoke Media who led the charge. Free food provided, and everyone is welcome!
