On June 11, Diane McFarlin, JM 1976, was named the new dean of the UF College of Journalism and Communications. She will assume the position Jan. 1. Diane is publisher of the Herald-Tribune Media Group in Sarasota, one of the largest media companies in Florida and an industry leader in media convergence.
