Juliana Fernandes Participates in UF Undergraduate Research Panel 2023 Summit Discussion
Juliana Fernandes, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Advertising assistant professor, was a member of the “Q &A Research Panel with UF Researchers” discussion during the Florida Undergraduate Research Leadership Summit (FURLS) 2023 on Jan. 28 in the UF Reitz Student Union.
Fernandes, Walter O’Dell, Pouya Amelia and Barry Setlow discussed a wide range of research topics including research experiences, career opportunities and the importance of undergraduate research.
FURLS is an intercollegiate summit meant for leaders involved in undergraduate research to discuss student-led initiatives that enhance the undergraduate research culture. Attendees come from schools all over the state of Florida, representing the breadth of undergraduate research programs at various institutions.
The summit was hosted by the UF Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students.
