Pat Ford Promoted to Full-Time Public Relations Lecturer
The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) today announced that Pat Ford, who has been a visiting professional-in-residence since 2017, will be a full-time lecturer in the Department of Public Relations this fall.
Ford, the former Vice Chairman and Chief Client Officer for global public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, has been an important member of the UFCJC faculty, introducing senior public relations professionals at major brands and agencies to the College’s program and students. He has been heavily involved with all of UFCJC’s public relations student organizations, and officially serves as the faculty advisor for the Black Public Relations Student Society.
Ford continues to be an active speaker and panelist and serves on the boards of a variety of industry organizations. At UFCJC, he will continue to teach Crisis Communication, Corporate Reputation and Corporate Communication Essentials.
