Jasmine McNealy Serves on Virtual Panel on Data Ethics and Safety
Jasmine McNealy, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Marion B. Brechner First Amendment Project associate director and Telecommunication associate professor, was a panelist during the virtual CogX 2020 Global Leadership Summit and Festival of AI & Emerging Technology on June 9.
McNealy, Jonnie Penn and Michael Running Wolf were panelists for On Data Ecologies and Sacred Data, part of the Ethics & Society stage curated by the Ada Lovelace Institute, examining recent developments in ethics and what is next for the future of work.
This year’s virtual CogX was an online gathering of leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, scientists, artists and activists in the world, all trying answer the question: “How to get the next 10 years right?”
