Frank LoMonte and Jasmine McNealy to Speak at UF Technology, Media & Privacy Law Conference
Frank LoMonte, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) Brechner Center for Freedom of Information director and Jasmine McNealy, UFCJC Marion B. Brechner First Amendment Project associate director and Telecommunication associate professor, will speak at the 2020 Technology, Media & Privacy Law Conference on Feb. 13-14 at the UF Levin College of Law.
The theme of the conference is “Truth & Liability in the New Media Age.” Panels will discuss issues surrounding internet and platform anonymity and the proliferation of fake news. The conference also addresses how technological advancements are reshaping privacy and free speech issues in the fields of law, journalism, and public policy.
