We would like to invite students and campus members to our upcoming edition of Museum Nights: Vibrant Africa, celebrating the African and Black Diaspora with live music by UF Agbedidi Ensemble and hands-on art-making activities.

Museum Nights: Vibrant Africa
THURSDAY, February 8, 6 pm – 9 pm
We invite you to unleash your creative energy at Museum Nights: Vibrant Africa with a live performance by UF Agbedidi Ensemble featuring performances from Aboubacar Camara, Djo Bi Irie Simon, Aboubacar Soumah, Kenneth Metzler, Wester Joseph, Rachel McCallum, Millicent Johnnie, Christa Sylla, Rujeko Dumbutshena and a special performance by Zimbabwean spoken word artist Rutendo Denise Mutsamwira. Attendees can also view dance films by UF School of Theater and Dance, Augusto Soledade, and Millicent Johnnie.
Don’t miss hands-on art-making activities, the cultural connections photobooth and free refreshments. Free and open to all. Co-sponsored by the Center for African Studies.
