Celeste Wagner, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Journalism assistant professor, has been chosen to participate in the Spring 2024 UF International Center
Global Learning Institute.

The Global Learning Institute equips faculty to internationalize their courses through engagement with campus resources, technology and collaboration with other faculty members who share a commitment to global learning. Upon completion of the program, faculty receive an award of $5,000 in professional development funds.

Wagner would like to create a safe space for students to learn intercultural competency so that they can feel confident and better equipped to navigate their future professions in globalized media industries. She also hopes to learn about the creativity and ideas of multidisciplinary colleagues across campus.
