Boost Your Wellness: Mental Health Happiness Retreat

SKY, a registered student organization focuses on the mental well-being of students, faculty, and staff. We aim to significantly lower stress on the UF campus and promote harmony in diversity, leadership, and service.

We are hosting the SKY Happiness Retreat on November 17-19a mental health resource that several students, faculty, and staff can benefit from. Studies have shown that the techniques have helped improve the overall health of adults. Research from Yale University comparing state-of-the-art well-being interventions showed that SKY significantly benefits six well-being outcomes: depression, stress, mental health, mindfulness, positive affect, and social connectedness. Mainstream media has also covered the benefits of the SKY breathing techniques, including, most recently, a TIME magazine article and a Harvard Business Review article. Here at UF, more than 2,000 students and faculty have benefited from this retreat over the past 10 years.

full scholarship is offered for students, and a 75% scholarship is offered for faculty and staff on a first come, first served basis through an application process and requires attendance at all sessions of the retreat. Limited spots are available.
