We are excited to announce that applications for the Emerging Scholars Program open today!

If you are not already familiar with the program, ESP is designed for 1^st and 2^nd year students who have no previous university-level research experience.

Program highlights:

• The program runs through the spring – fall semester (with optional work during the summer)
• Students complete RCR training and Mentee Expectations trainings
• Students are expected to work on the project 8-10 hours per week
• The culminating assignments are a research paper and a poster presentation at the Fall Undergraduate Research Symposium
• Students receive a $1000 stipend for successfully completing the program
