Care on the Move: Using Communication Theory to Strengthen Patient Relationships with Mobile Health Care Brands
Inspired by the rapid increase in mobile health services during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jessica Fullerton proposed a method for mobile health clinic brands to improve their perceived trustworthiness and communication practices. By highlighting the importance of cultural humility and interpersonal trust, the report includes a clear framework for incorporating Co-Cultural Theory and Social Penetration Theory into clinic communication plans, as well as a case study of the University of Florida Mobile Outreach Clinic to show the framework in action.
