CJC Student Finalists Named in 2022 BEA Student Festival of Media Arts Competition
University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC) students are finalists in the 2022 Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Student Festival of Media Arts competition. The annual BEA international digital media and broadcast competition is open to faculty and students from over 300 participating schools. The finalists were chosen from over 1,600 entries from around the world.
The 2022 category finalists include:
Narrative: “The Ultimate High” by Michel Thomas, Chris Ruiz, Brady Bunker & Gabby Willis
Narrative: “What Else is On?” by Diego Orozco, Haley Mueller, Garrett Robles and Justin Yoon.
TV Long Feature: “Black Thursday” by Pamela Comme
TV News Magazine: “Rising from the Rubble” WUFT News Staff
TV News Magazine: “Overcoming Impossible” WUFT-TV NEWS
Video Sports Talent (Anchor/Host): Madi Camporese Anchor Reel
Winners of the Audio, Documentary and Film & Video Competitions will be announced on Feb. 28 and winners from the News, International, Interactive Multimedia & Emerging Technologies, Scriptwriting and Sports Competitions will be announced on March 1.
All of faculty and student Festival winners will be celebrated in-person at the BEA2022 Conference on April 24-25 in Las Vegas.
