David Adams Named New Manager for CJC Integrated Partnerships
David Adams has joined the University of Florida Career Connections Center (CCC) as the Manager for Integrated Partnerships for the UF College of Journalism and Communications (UFCJC). Adams will serve as an embedded liaison at the College.
In this role, Adams will work closely with Julie Frey, UFCJC Director of the Office of Career and Corporate Partnerships, to provide career development services to UFCJC students. This includes general resume, cover letter and portfolio reviews, mock interviews and career planning. He also is available to make presentations in UFCJC classes or to student organizations on a variety of topics ranging from a 15-minute CCC introduction to a 50-minute session on job offers and salary negotiation.
Prior to joining UF, Adams was the student employment coordinator for Life Calling and Career Office at Indiana Wesleyan University.
The Office of Careers and Corporate Partnerships was created in 2020 to build relationships with top employers and help students find the best job and internship opportunities.
