Rita Men is the Lead Author of an Article on Leadership Communication and its Effect on Employee Trust and Organizational Change
Rita Men, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Public Relations associate professor, is the lead author of “’Vision, Passion, and Care:’ The Impact of Charismatic Executive Leadership Communication on Employee Trust and Support for Organizational Change” published in Public Relations Review on June 1.
Men, Cen April Yue, Ph.D. 2020, and Yonghong Liu, explored how charismatic executive leadership communication influences employees’ attitudinal and behavioral reaction toward change by using a web survey.
According to the authors, they found that charismatic executive leadership communication positively influenced employee trust, openness to change, and behavioral support for change.
