Graham Olney, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Advertising senior, is the author of “When You Chase a Dream and Catch It… Now What?” published on Medium on July 27.

Olney served as a summer 2017 corporate intern working with Publicis Health CEO Nick Colucci in New York. The article chronicles his experiences and how they became a catalyst for change in his life. Olney learned lessons on how to implement fresh ideas and change, to seek a work/life balance and to progress not only as a professional, but also as a person.

He shares five key insights: surround yourself with amazing people; be keenly self-aware and choose moments wisely; look forward to what’s next; lead with head, heart and hands; and leadership and communication need to be adaptive.
