CJC Publishes New Edition of the Journal of Public Interest Communications
The University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications (CJC) has published the second edition of the Journal of Public Interest Communications (JPIC), an academic journal dedicated to the theory and science of strategic communication for social change.
Volume 2, No. 1, includes a wide range of original research on Public Interest Communications including an article by CJC doctoral student Phillip Arceneaux and an invited paper by Jasper Fessmann, Ph.D. 2018. Dr. Brigitta Bruner, public relations professor at the Auburn University School of Communication and Journalism, is the JPIC editor and CJC Lecturer Kelly Chernin is the JPIC manager. Linda Hon, Public Relations professor, directed the Journal’s launch and continues to oversee the publication.
The next issue will be a special edition on Public Relations Advocacy: Perspectives from Practice and Research on Public Interest Communications featuring guest editor Giselle A. Auger.
