Sylvia Chan-Olmsted Speaks on New Media Trends for Audience Engagement
Sylvia Chan-Olmsted, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Telecommunication professor and director of Media Consumer Research, recently visited the University of Navarra in Spain to collaborate with faculty and to present “Media Seek ‘Emotional Engagement’ of Audiences.”
Her presentation featured current trends in the media industry including a new value chain focusing on individual content products rather than bundles, the importance of consumer engagement, and the new tools available for data analysis.
