Michael Leslie, University of Florida College of Journalism and Communication Telecommunication associate professor, has been appointed faculty advisor to The Agency, a team of CJC professionals and students who develop client campaigns with a millennial focus.

Leslie has 35 years of experience as a teacher, advisor and mentor to students, faculty and working professionals, in multicultural settings around the globe. In his new role, Leslie will provide leadership training and coaching for Agency team members and offer informal coaching for the professional staff. He will assume account leadership responsibilities for the Southern Sudan Health Care Organization, a pro bono client, working closely with the student team, providing strategic communications and fundraising direction. He also will promote diversity and inclusiveness in The Agency through his related research and advocacy work.
